If you buy electric (Tesla) expect to buy ugly. I don't care how fast the toxic electric POS is. Road trips in an electric car are a nightmare.

I know someone with a really gorgeous black on black 69 Charger. He gets clowns in Camaros challenging him all the time for a race. I really like his response because I get the same crap with my 69 Charger: You might beat me. But win or lose I get to drive home in my 69 Charger and you don't! I feel the same way about the Challenger v a Tesla. Toxic waste on wheels, future junk.

I get it, you don't like Teslas. I'm pretty sure everyone here knows by now since you seem to like saying it. Comparing it to a 60s-era anything is apples and oranges.
I don't own a Tesla and I don't see one in my near future, but if you can't appreciate a 1000+ HP luxury car that can run the 1/4 mile in low 9s, 400+ mile range with pretty much every creature comfort available, then ok?
Dodge Demon top speed is 168, Tesla Plaid top speed is 200. Even with a gear change the Tesla still has 22% more HP and a better drag coefficient.

I'm surprised that tesla does 200. Thought electric cars have no power at higher speeds. (Mainly due to having no transmission)

Without the shitty tire speed limiter, demon goes 211 mph.

You missed my point. Wether it's a 69 Charger v comparable year Camaro or new Tesla v new Hellcat Challenger, win or lose, the Mopar owners will be driving home in a much better looking car. That's the point. A bigger car as well.

A Tesla is really an environmental disaster funded by us tax payers with someone trying to choke them down our throats. IMO Take that electric vacuum cleaner into the mountains in the winter and see how long it lasts.. you’ll be hoping a gas / oil burner drives by at some point..

Amen to that and truer words were never spoken. As I said, future junk. They're lining people up for when the power grid fails - just look to CA to see our potential future. Someone who used to work in a plant that made the batteries for these cars called them eco terrorists driven by well meaning idiots.
And the stock market was manipulated by this fake demand. And of course certain congressman had holdings in Tesla.
I also think Elon Musk is a douche.
Electric cars have all the soul and appeal of a Kitchen Aide dishwasher.
