Are these what people are putting on the back of a 69 coronet. 15 X10 with a 5.5 b.s?
Do they work fine with the factory poverty caps?
I have a b body Dana 60, does that change anything
I'm shipping a car home to me here in n.z. and it saves me a few $$ postage to get my wheels put in the back of the car at the port.
But if it's not clear what will work, I will just have the wheels that are on it widened once I get it home
I've had a search around, and found a few references to these wheels saying they should fit. Any help much appreciated.

I have the 15x8 with a 4 1/2 backspace and there is plenty of room. I think you will be fine with the 10 in wheels. Yes the caps fit.

Shipping weight 34 pounds! Why would you want such a heavy wheel? This will eat up horsepower and wear out your brakes if you do any performance driving.

It's just all about the look I want. Wide black steelies with redline fratzog caps.
I don't really performance drive my old cars, I just make lots of noise and Cruze around.
I've got 20x9 and 20x8 Detroit steels on my Fury.... Those are a real heavy wheels!

Most say a 15x8 or 8.5 with 4.5 backspace fits well. You're adding an extra inch in each direction so it should still be centered well. I know I had a 10.5" slick on a 4.875 bs wheel on my 69 runner, and it fit well.
The nice thing about too much backspace is that it can be dialed in perfectly with spacers. Not enough backspace? Not so much.

Thanks for the replies everyone.
I'm gonna wait till the car gets home and get a local engineering company to put the standard centres into bigger hoops, that way I can get the backspace just right.
There is some guys close by who I've been told do a very good job, plus itl be good to give the work to a small local business.
Thanks j

I have 15X10 with the 5 or 5 1/2 backspace Weldwheels on the rear of my 69 Coronet R/T, with 275-60/15. Fit great, don't rub anytime or anywhere.

I'm running 15x10's with 5.25" backspace and 275/60 tires on the back of my 69 Bee. Has a Strange 60 with stock dimensions from Dr. Diff. Pretty much perfectly centered.

Check Elite Wheels in Christchurch, they can make some up for you, and do a custom backspace as depending on straight your car is side to side the 5.5 BS may or may not fit, local guy got some then changed to 5.25 BS i think it was.
