Stopped at the gas station today.Across from the pumps sits a fancy import next to the tire air pump. While I was filling, another car pulls up and out comes a well dressed woman. She goes over to the car at the pump and out pops a young kid,on his phone of course. Not paying any attention to I assume is Mom.This dressed up lady, looking like she was going to the office, starts to air up the tires in the kids car.Again the kid is texting away while mommy does the work.Sad to say the least.I just shook my head and drove away.

Talk about spoiled. What's that kid going to do when his mother isn't around anymore to serve him. With chit like this going on it's no wonder this world is getting so fracked up!

I call my boys (not old enough to drive yet) my “Trunk Monkeys”. Gas, air, etc. They have been my curbside p/u at grocery stores long before it was even a thing :D

My Mom would not have had to get out of the car to begin with. But. those were different times...

We are living in a different world my friends! I liked it the way it was for my generation. Children were taught respect for others as well as their parents. Our parents didn't owe us kids anything. It was the other way around. Sad to see things the way they are today. Just my 2 cents! ruffcut

Growing up my next door neighbor Mr. Hubert had 3 daughters. Each as they reached driving age had to be able to do something before he would let them get a license. Change a tire .Mary had to change it on a 55 Chevy,Darla a 66 Chevy and Luann a 71 Plymouth. Can't do it ? Not gonna drive.None of them were Butch by the way.

Both of em need an "attention getter".

He/she is going to expect some Taxpayer money that they DESERVE, pay to have it done...

Kids with cell phones. They're a mind control device taking them away from doing things kids should be doing to grow up. I had a debate with my wife when these things became common as dirt getting phones for our daughters. She wanted capability of contact with them all the time. I replied that we didn't need them when we were kids or even into our 30's before these were available. At least back then a cell phone was well...a phone without internet connections and the 100's of app's or games they have now.
