Hello all.
I’m leaving the land of the A body ( 68 Dart convertible 318 4 speed) .
Now on the hunt for a 67 Coronet big block car. I had a 67 500 back in the early 90s. I’m trying to get back into the B bodies.

Here’s a funny fact. My home was built in 1940. I was just in the garage this evening with a tape measure to make sure a Coronet will fit.

Welcome from Alabama, best of luck for the Coronet you are looking for. Try the Mopars for sale part of the forum.

I here ya
tape measure
My house was built in 78.Popular cars were little such as the Dodge Omni and Ford Fiestia.
The Garage is only 20' deep.If I put the 63's front bumper on the wall I can just walk by.
Was going to buy a new 2020 Charger.Didn't fit.:welcome:

I’ve got that beat. When was the last time you went to look at a car and the very first thing you did was measure bumper tip to bumper tip? When I bought my dirt that was the first thing I did, I think the seller thought I was nuts. He stopped and asked me what I’m doing, I told him that I need it to fit in the garage. My garage is exactly 200 inches deep to the workbench from the garage door. The dirt was 197 inches long. It’s strange how I know how exact the measurement is. Coronet from what I understand is 203 inches long so I told my wife last night I’m going to go and stretch the garage. Ah good times . The toolbox is going to have to go. Do cornets come without the need of work? LOL

Welcome from Missouri!! Nice Dart!!

Welcome to the forum. Those are sweet cars. Garages are never big enough. But, if the garage door closes, she fits :)

My house was built in 2017 and I also had to break out the tape measure to make sure the car would fit. It does, but I think I only have 6 inches to spare.

Welcome aboard! :D

My man Billy has this '67 Coronet 500 roller that was turned into a race car very early in life with 29,000 miles on the original odometer, probably a quarter mile at a time by the looks of it. It's had the "right" mods done before he traded for it and he's done more (bodywork, etc.) since the day it got here shown below. It needs a new home so he can focus on his '67 Barracuda. The shop number is down there in my signature if you want to talk to him.

Keep us posted on your progress regardless of what you get!

Our garage is 26 feet long and with a workbench in front. I have enough room to get around front and back.
Garages are similar to boats, 2 feet to short, but also 2 feet to narrow.
There have been a few 66-7 Coronets for sale on Kijiji in the last 6 months or so.
If interested, go to Dodge in Classic Cars, then a 1000 k radius. This will cover Calgary, Edmonton and other Alberta locations, Saskatchewan, Winnipeg and some of Manitoba. Some have been very nice and some need a complete restoration.
