Time for a show lets see the 71-74's

ANY time I pull/install ANY hood, always put a deck chair cushion on windshield, cheaper then a new windshield and NO, didn't learn that from busting 1 in the past.:D
Wrap your palm around the corner, load on your shoulder

@JG71B : aaahhh yea, got that, the cushions are like an insurance policy JUST in case someone slips

My 340 73 Road Runner is back on the road after building and installing a 340 stroker with 416 cubic inches. I also installed a Gear Vendors overdrive. Body needs some attention, but I now plan to drive it across country in the spring of 2022.

(Sitting next to it is my Limelight 70 Road Runner. It made the trip across country in 2015 after a full restoration, so now I need to drive the 73 so it can join the club! :D )

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone remembers a 1971 GTX 4spd (GY9) which was found by a gentleman named "Nick" , perhaps 10 years ago in Arizona. I think "nick" sold the car. Just something to share memories. The car had sat beside and behind the original owners house. perhaps Tucson?

Couldn't ask for a better day, at a local cruise with a buddy. Also, let us not forget!

Hillbilly, Congrats on your efforts, I feel once the paint is done , the major hurdle is crossed. Bolting her back together at this point is pure gravy and immense enjoyment for me. Enjoy your work, its looking real good......

My '73 Road Runner. I'm the original owner. Purchased in 1973. Unrestored; original paint, driveline, and interior. Still going strong after 48 years of fun.

Wow. Super and nice original car! What is the driveline and options?

I have a 1973 340, 727 with A/C, PS, PB, console and rear window defogger. I didn't buy it originally, but I have owned it since 1981 and it has been in the family since 1979. Here it is from a few years ago (it's rougher now as it has been daily driven).

(A picture of it today is posted earlier parked along with my 1970 Road Runner.)
