Found a 71 GTX setting in the woods.

Disc brakes too!
How much did you pay for the car?

Dude, 2 years and about 20k (plus your labor) and that car will be a fixture in the world again

I don't know where you buy your parts, but if 20K can restore that car, minus labor, I wanna shop with you.
I just upgraded the fuel system and did a tune-up on my Power Wagon and it cost over $1,000.

That’s about what I’m into with the Coronet so far, and I’m sure I’ve got a bit more to go for the installation on the top…. But I hear you sir

I'm guessing you don't want to tell what you paid? Why is that?
Doing so helps others if and when they encounter something like this.
I paid $5000 for my '70 Charger "Jigsaw" that was wrecked and ignored for 24 years.

Shame the Dana is gone...

Can't say what I paid the wife may find out what I actually paid.
It's part of a 3 car deal maybe a forth car it's hard to say what I paid for this one car.
The charger looks good to me. Want your money back?

Ironbuilt spent almost 200K for a Kenworth. You have no idea how I spend MY money!!

Yes, but this car needs a whole lot more than your car did. Motor, trans, Dana, interior, wiring, piles of metal, misc, misc. I would guess more like 50-60K. It will be a cool one when done though.....

Money in the bank. I always wanted the license plate "FUN-IRA" but it was already taken!!

God, I LOVE stories like these!

Get a clean bill on stolen/ownership and start working that car...awesome find!

Yeah I like these stories too. That's why I shared these pics and the find. Car guys like me can't enough of this stuff.

I'm glad you decided to save it. It would have disappeared into the ground otherwise. I hope you start a restoration thread.
