Bought one from Eastwood with a large view, works good. The minus the adjustment to keep it falling in front of your face was poor.

I have the Hobart Hood and like it.

Got a hobart too. I've only used it a couple times but it's a name brand that is a real company. Not like some of that chinese crap on Amazon with fake brand names you can't pronounce and you don't know if the ratings are fake. Settings are adjustable. Paid around $115 on Amazon a few months ago. They have it listed for over $200 now which is stupid. Tractor supply has is for $99.

I am also running an eastwood and am happy with it. Like mentioned above the flip adjustment seems to come loose and need retightening periodically. I am using this helmet at least weekly and sometimes several days in a row lately.

I used to weld at my job before I retired, and I spent my tool allowance on a 3M Speedglass
with side lenses so you could see what's going on on the sides! A bit pricey, but it's the best.

I have a miller 4arc sensor graphic spent about $380 for it but a great welding helmet.

Had to cheap out a couple of years ago and bought one from ChinaFreight since my good one died and new batteries didn't help. Yeah, Chicago Electric but it seems to work pretty good. Used it several times to narrow a couple of rear ends and other things and the last time was about 3 months ago and it still worked so it's paid for itself imo. Needed it this past week and couldn't remember where I put it but found it just a bit ago. Go figure. I have a welding job coming up soon so it'll get checked out again. It's 'solar' powered with battery 'assist' whatever that means lol

I have a Miller "Pro Hobby". It has the adjustments all inside - where they can't accidentally be bumped !! I did upgrade from the cheap headband which makes a BIG difference (I do a lot of welding so comfort is important) I've had it close to ten years now. Adjustment seldom needs to be changed unless I switch welders to do sheet metal or tig welding but 99% of the time I just leave it on "10"

I have a Jacksom W60 TruSight II. It's pretty good, but not inexpensive.
When I bought mine (Like 7+ years ago) there was a pretty good rebate on them. That was many years ago, so hopefully the quality of the cheap helmets has improved since then?

Looks Like this one "Arc Angle" Graphic:

Might look at Cyber Weld for better prices:

I have also bought from these guys:

wow the Jackson is over 700 Canadian , I'm thinking 200 around want to be. is there any out there that so ambiguous than welding helmets there's a thousand different model .

Miller here as well.
I can adjust the shade, depending on if I’m doing a MIG or TIG process

When I started welding the cheapest auto-darkening was a Princess Auto unit. Well under $100.. But "cheap" only gets you so far. It never broke but the headband was about as comfortable as using rope! I sprung for the Miller and a good headband. A few years later I got a smokin' deal on a 3M Speedglas and it was the most comfortable unit I'd ever worn. HOWEVER, the lense started flashing (apparently a common issue with 3M) and replacement cost is ridiculous. The Miller is still my go-to helmet.

I bought a cheapo from China freight as well it worked ok for what I did. I have since bought one from Northern Tool ,Klutch brand and is solar powered. Its a lot lighter than the HF one and I liked the ratchet much better.

I have and have had expensive helmets (Speedglass, Miller, etc.) and cheap helmets (HF, Amazon, etc.) and have to say that I am liking the cheaper ones especially the True color ones. When they get bad I get another ($50 - $100) and they usually last several years. My expensive ones did/do last a little longer but not much at 2 or 3 times the price.

I usually get at least one welding helmet for Xmas every other year (I have 3 MIG and 1 TIG welders).

A lot of it boils down how much welding your going to do.
