I am looking for a correct date coded engine for my '67 GTX. My car was built 3/7/1967, I would like to find an engine that is dated close to that. I would prefer a complete engine but i will consider a block that is in good condition. Any leads on one would be greatly appreciated. I am located in central Ohio. Thanks in advance!

I have an early 67 model 440 engine, think Sept 66 build. Disassembled engine 30 over, cleaned, easier for shipping. If this is one to consider , PM me with your Email or phone, and we can go from there. Oh , I am in Seattle, so shipping is required.

I have a 67 hp 440 dated casting 10/12/66 and assemble date of 11/30/66. I started a build on it years ago and lost steam it has scat rods, L2295F pistons at .030. steel crank at .010/.010. new main and rod bearings installed with rear main. No 915 heads at this time, probably have some other stuff for it tho ..PM me if interested...I'm about 1hr North of PA line in NY

Thanks for all the replies guys. I’m specifically looking for an engine with an assembly date between December 1966 to early March 1967. That would be a correct date code for my car.
