I've read a lot of threads here but haven't found a definitive answer.

If you're running a set of Wilwood disc brakes in front and or back and are running a 15" wheel, can you please post wheel specs and if possible a pic? Spacers might be required so if you're doing that I'd be interested in that too

I know SSBC and Right Stuff also sell kits, but I'm specifically asking about Wilwood, or at least kits that keep the drum spindle.

I'm looking into different wheels, but fitment is my main concern now. Thanks!

Depends on size of brakes I’m running wilwood 14” but u need at least 18” wheels.

I’m running the 12.75” Wilwoods up front with Torque Thrust 15x6 not sure of the offset no problems. Wilwood discs on back with 15x8 and 4.5” backspace on the rear, again no problems.

The Wilwood "conversion kit" that uses the stock drum spindles works fine with 15" wheels BUT....
if you have Magnum 500's, the nosecone on the Wilwood rotor will not allow installation of the cap
on the Magnum 500.
Well known issue in the hobby with this...
Some folks choose to just let the thing poke through the hole in the Magnum 500 rim.

By the way, SSBC has long since gone out of business.

Which 15" wheel is the issue. When Wilwood says 15" wheel that doesn't mean a stock original 15" wheel, 15" aftermarket mags are usually not a problem stock drum brake 15" wheels are

Usually stock, but again i had an older set of 18”wheels (Budniks) the tire stem was drilled on top of inner lip and not on the curve. Well luckily I didn’t spin the tire fast as i was rotating it the caliper hit the tire stem so i had to get the flush mount valve stem. But again research ask questions.

While we're at it, which Wilwood kit are we talking about? Part number?

Looks to be what your looking for also being when and if u upgrade to larger diameter wheels u will use the same drum spindle. And then u sell those and ill buy them ;)

I also am running American Racing Torque thrust II's in 15's.

15x10 in the rear with 5.5 backspace
15x7 in the front with 3.75 backspace

Sorry, I'm posting from my phone so I may not have read everything correctly.

Are you running the 140-11020 kit now?
Interesting choice of rims since I was looking at the Cragars and found out (and you've confirmed) that Cragar doesn't do custom offsets anymore.

If you're having success with these wheels and sizes and running minimal spacers I'd very likely copy that, assuming that would work on my 67 in the same way.

I have the Wilwood 140-7144 kit 12.19" rotors and Weld 15x10 wheels. Without a 1/4" spacer the inside radius of the wheel barely rubs the very top of the caliper. Its barely enough to score the wheel or caliper.
Im also running their forged dynalites on the front with runners and have no issues.

Of course. I ended up biting the loss and ordered the same rims in a 17" rim. I also wanted cragars, but a few years ago when then outsourced overseas for the castings, they stopped custom offsets. I am still running the wilwood brake kits on the front and rear.
