Life is funny. Back in the 80's, 90's when I first got into the Mopar "hobby", I had all the "desirable models, hemis, 6 pacs, BB As, AARs, and a pile of just ole 383 RR Bees, Chargers, Challengers, etc. They just don't excite me enough to want the $$$$ invested in such.
So for the last 10-15 years I have built bunch of slant early As, SB Dusters, even had a few F bodies. Now I have a 62 Lancer becasue the wife claims it, a 62 and a 64 Body, BUT they are MORE doors, one is a poly 318 an he other is a slant, might remain such who knows. I am finishing the paint work on a 64 Savoy. It will likely get sold. Just not that excited about building it, putting all that $i$$ in the drivetrain, did such back in the 90s, a slant to 440 4 speed.
So what has this all to do with anyone building an AMC wagon!? Just because it make more $ sense to build something else, this hobby is not really about $ it is about the fun the joy were receive from our rides however it may be.
Be it is just tooling down the road,or conversations at a show or cruise in, or the satisfaction of bring an old car back from the dead, whatever it may be.
OK so I am yapping here killing time waiting for the conditions to be right to start paint!
