Picture request: clutch pedal with overcenter spring

I need a picture of a 68-70 clutch pedal assembly with the overcenter spring installed. Preferably a shot from above (want to see how much clearance there is between the spring and the bracket). Maybe a picture from the bottom when installed in the car does work as well.

Looking at your picture, that spring is pulling the brackets closer together. I can't send you a overhead picture of mine, due to its already installed in the car.
You will have more clearance when its bolted down to the firewall.
I.painted my assembly as you did. All black.. I regret doing it all in black. It would have been way better to paint all the brackets silver or white. And then only the pedals in black. It makes it way easier to see everything under the dash when you have to work on it later on. Like when adjusting the brake light switch or linkage.

I'm still wondering why that spring is removed on diaphragm style (Centerforce) clutch assemblies? Is that because too much back pressure to the throw out assembly?

Simple answer, cause the spring is strong enough to hold the pedal on the floor, not good. I proved this when I installed the diaphragm clutch in my '67. Besides the way a diaphragm clutch applies pressure is different than how a coil spring clutch does. Search this site, I'm sure someone has posted the full explanation.

edit: Yes I had to remove the spring in mine for it to operate correctly.

When I bought my current GTX the seller had to replace clutch to make car more "Sellable" He for some reason upgraded to a big 11" Centerforce clutch. (Which of course I have never used or installed.) With that spring removed the pedal would not return to original starting position. I just added a small spring to the fork arm to correct. So I thought I would poke around with questions and try to get this old brain to learn something new?
