My God FedEx is worthless!!!!!!!

I've had an FedEx account for almost 20 years now. Have watched their price go through the roof. Now I can't even get a shipping quote on line with these yahoos. Have always just needed zip codes but now their site wants addresses too. So I put in addresses too and still no response. Just spent almost an hour on the phone with them and no one knows way it won't work nor what to do. Their answer was to call them when I need a quote. I told them that I might as well close my account because I wasn't going to spend hours each week getting 30-50 quote on the phone when it used to take few minutes on line. WTF is wrong with people?
I quit using UPS years ago.
The shipping companies are KILLING this country.
You must be doing something wrong, I do quotes often and don't have a problem with just zips/weight/box size. I just checked and it is doing what you say. Are you logged in (I wasn't)? I don't know my pw so I can check tomorrow. And, yes, their rates have soared and I don't ship enough anymore so I don't get a discount now.
 
Don't despair! Drones will be delivering most everything in the near future and they will work perfectly! Like Tesla's self driving cars! LOL!
And I'm still wanting and waiting for a hover conversion for my 69 charger........

Oh it's probably something simple like a setting or whatnot but I can't get any help and I'm a tech-idiot. I've tried two different browsers and I am logged in.

I just logged in for a sample rate and I can see why you're frustrated. Yet another website change has made more problems than it's solving by the looks of it. The only typing boxes that accept an answer are the ZIP Codes, and there's nothing else to click on to even get to the Rate Schedule. Clicking on Enter The Address Yourself does nothing.

I've thought for years that a shipping company dedicated strictly to automotive parts would be a game changer, owned by and stocked with employee gearheads who actually care.
 
If you have a business - create a Shopify store. You get discounted rates and ship labels for all orders. I only do UPS, and USPS is secondary.

Normally everything is good and I ship almost daily. I often drop packages off and they are already paid when I print my label from the backend of my website. No hassle. If I want a package picked up from my house UPS never fails but they charge extra for that of course.

Never had good luck with FedEx and anytime I ever order something and I get a tracking email that it’s FedEx I hold my breathe.
 
That is what I'm getting Leanna. I can enter addresses but get no response. I want to just be able to use zips.
 
And see I usually have problems with UPS. Slower than frozen snot.

Mark....you might see if you can get FedEx "Shipping Manager" label processing software installed on your computer, and print out your own labels as you need them. With the software, you can do down-to-the-penny shipping quotes without having to go thru the hassles of the www website....and it's MUCH faster!!!

I haven't used the FedEx www website for shipping quotes for years.......the only time I ever use the www is to check on tracking numbers....

In my experiences
FedEx & DHL have always been the worst
I've had several issues with FedEx over the years
like $3,900 worth of issues just in the past 10 or so
a $1,200 hood
2x's $2,700 worth of custom golf clubs shipped
& never received on the other end
& with no restitution either
I refuse to use them now, ever...

I don't have or rarely have any issues
with my local USPS or UPS
I know my UPS driver/s, he's a really good guy
they live right up the street
he always takes note of any damages
even to the shipping boxes
puts it on the electronic gadget he carries
or on the tag, if I ask
the drivers wife also works at UPS
at the Angles Camp shipping hub too

I'm not sure it makes any difference

I think where you live 'could be the difference' too
not all shipping areas are equal
or quality of driver are the same either,
some really bad ones out there

most all my stuff comes within a day of what is said/quoted
& I'm rural
most of my stuff is from Summit anyway, from the Reno hub
or Texas, which takes 2 days longer

hopefully I didn't just jinx myself now

I'm delighted to report that the refund for their mishandling of my May 6 shipment has been approved per Molly's call this morning! It took me talking to 9 peons, 2 supervisors and 3 Escalation Team members -- and reminding them they breached a written contract they wrote -- to finally make it happen (still deplorable), but it seems Not Bending Over & Taking It worked.

Mark, I think using a different link will work for you. Try this link, It should take you right to the rate finder page you are used to seeing? I just used it like always by providing the zip code and weight/measurements and worked fine. Save the link if it works.

Click on the link again don’t sign in please. Change it to U.S., enter the zips, and do detailed quote. Trying to see if it might be your account settings. Report back.
 
OK I got it working. I've cleared the cookies in my browser with no results. So I cleared the cookies in my Google account and that worked. So at some point in time a website left a cookie in my Google account that screwed with the FedEx site??????? Yep, I just love technology.
