My 62 Fury has an Ebay power disc conversion brake system (made in China) that just will not work (was on the car when I bought it :(). It's got the 10.9" rotors , and 2.75" slider front calipers. I want to replace the power booster And the master cylinder...and put on a manual brake master cylinder/ and keep the front discs Also I have the stock 10" rear drum brakes. So what master cylinder should I buy ? Bore size make model year ? The 4 bolt style will be the easiest for me. Just want to get passed this damn brake issue so I can drive this car before the snow flys.

Wildwood is not in the budget. Just want stock replacement parts...they worked for mopar/ they will work for me

Call Cass aka Dr Diff. He will set you up with that parts you need.

I have used the Volare Manual disc brake mastercylinder. 76-79 is 4 bolt cast iron.
I believe the same one was used on 73 up A bodies.
Not sure what the part number is, off hand.
I have one on my 65 Fury, and my 65 Belverdere, been over 20 yeqrs now.

Manual brake, disc brake A body. Example: 1975 Duster. Master cylinder bore diameter of approximately 1", bigger will increase pedal effort. Depending on car weight and leg strength you can increase diameter and it will travel less.

A-bodies were available with manual disc from the factory unlike B and E bodies. I've those master cylinders on B/E bodies with disc/drum like yours with real good results. Can use a factory manual rod for that year B-body. Factory 4-bolt mount. This a 71.

I did see that 1975 A bodies had a 15/16" MC bore size, with 2.75" piston calipers. Any thoughts about that size MC ?

You need to be certain that the replacement M/C is for MANUAL brakes. The power brake M/C do not have the retaining groove that the Manual M/C has for the pedal rod.

15/16 or even a 7/8 bore mc will give ya great feeling brakes!

I am using the Doctor Diff master on wilwood 6piston front and 4 piston rear manual brakes with the 15/16 version and like it. BTW I just used the power version in 15/16 with docs power booster on a 69 RoadRunner with SSBC Discs all around and was a significant improvement.

That’s correct.
