Where did you and your car go today

Drove out to San Tan AZ yesterday afternoon. Se of Phoenix. First cruise Of our cruise season. Cooled down a bit due to incoming storms. 30 minute drive from where I live. Sand storm rolled through. I hit it mid way there. Lasted about 10minutes. Got to the cruise and people must of made a lad dash out of there. Only thing left was this. Amazing what a sand storm will do to a paint job

Not with the car but with the Jeep. The wife, dog and I took advantage of a nice fall day to go for a drive out in the desert. View from the top of a butte in Central Oregon.

To work yesterday and today.

Vented a little refrigerant last weekend to see if it helped my condensation issue.

Now blowing 48* at the vent Only dripped one drop yesterday afternoon.

Of course the ambient temp and humidity are both down about 10%, so basically inconclusive.

Took a ride in the red Charger last Sunday with Submit. Went out for lunch, did a couple errands for her & went for an ice cream later on. It was a nice afternoon & she got a kick out of people giving us the thumbs up.

took out my runner and let the girlfreind drive it so i could watch it makes my heart skip a beat

Boy, did I get that wrong.

My wife and I went for a drive on a nice sunny day last week with friends Brad, in his 1965 Mustang and Richard and wife, in his 1966 Charger Hemi. We went to the small village of Oakdale, Ontario to see an old Imperial Esso station that opened in 1946 and closed some time in the '60's. It looks like someone locked it up and just walked away. A guy across the road owns it now and maintains it and shares it with old car fans. He has a lot of petroliana saved inside. I put about 200 miles on my R/T that afternoon on quiet secondary paved roads and we all had a great time. At one point, we made a wrong turn and wound up at a street reconstruction site. As we were considering turning around, the dump truck driver leaving the site said to wait a minute, and the bulldozer operator would push part of the freshly dumped pile of gravel down and let us through. Pretty sure that would not have happened if we were in our regular cars. The construction crew all gave us Thumbs Up for our cars. My wife and I finished up the day with a delicious perch and fries supper at a Port Stanley, Ontario restaurant with Richard and his wife.

Love the retro paint job on the Charger!

Went for a cruise today. This is the church we got married in and our first house we bought. That was 42 years ago. Stopped for a bite to eat and back home.
