Anyone have a booster there getting redone now? I called today, they're closed, and got a machine. For about 2 weeks I've been trying and always get a busy signal. I want to speak to someone before I ship a hemi booster to an address that may or may not still be a business. Any input is appreciated.

Dunno.
But everything these days is being blamed on the China virus.
Maybe somebody got it, and everyone has to quarantine?

In a thread it was said he , dewey retired. Said his kid is running it. I'd wait to talk to someone for a vib good or bad. There are others, start a who else thread.

Yep, Booster “Steve” is running it now as far as I know. I think Dewey turned it over a couple of years ago. Not sure about the non-response. I hope everything is good there because they’re a great outfit. Steve did a booster for me and it turned out great.

Yeah, this isn't a blast Dewey's thread at all. I was looking for someone that has a booster being redone currently there. I'll jeep trying.

I sent two Bendix boosters. 1 Hemi and one Std and received a call today from them, and they arrived and are in line to be done. I'll post when I receive them back!

Thank you. Did you contact them before you shipped them out?

Yes I did. I had no trouble contacting them.
Wonder why I keep getting a busy signal then? I called the number from the link on this site to their website. I'll jeep trying.
On an off note, how much did you insure your hemi booster for when you shipped it? And did you send bracket and all or just the booster?

My opinion send only the booster, less things to lose. You can clean up the bracket.

Are you using this website? http://boosterdeweyexchange.com/

yes. as I stated, I had no trouble. I will post when I get the boosters back. I just received my call from them this past Monday afternoon. it is too soon to say much more.

Update. I had a courtesy call from them asking about painting or not, and a question about the check valves. I decided I wanted NOS check valves from another source. and for paint, I asked not to have them painted. when new, these were painted from the OE supplier as an assy. look great. came back Oct 30th. I can post pics when I get the second master cyl ready and paint these assy's.

Well I called today and it rang but a machine answered saying they moved.

1969 Hemi R/T maybe saved phone number ask if it's the same as yours?
It was them. They said the phone number would stay the same and they would post the new address on their website. I will call from time to time. I'm in no real hurry right now.

Wanted to update. I emailed them regarding rebuilding my Hemi booster and they responded. Very informative and quick to respond. I sent it out and insured it for 2500. They let me know they received it and I told them to paint it all black. I'll update when I hear back from them.
Thanks everyone.
