Rust Valley Restorers closing down

Liked the show. Sad to see it end. Wish I had time and money, I'd make my way to that auction somehow.

The last show I saw Avery was starting his own shop. Anyone know about that?

Where did all the Mopars go? It looks like the yard has already been cherry-picked, and they are selling the left-over junk.

Atleast he is selling them off while some of them are still buildable, and not letting them rot into the ground and leaving them for his family to deal with once he is gone.

saw the show for the first time about 2 weeks ago........ it doesn't leave a good first impression

It's a typical television car show. They manufacture some drama, but it's better than some of them I have seen. They look like real car guys working on cars. I remember trying to watch that dessert valley auto show, that one was much harder to watch!

Maybe he's not ready to part ways with a lot of the Mopars yet. The few that he has listed are at the bottom of the food chain or too rough to fix.

I was just referring to the initial appearance of being sloppy and not bathing.....they looked like pigs, I didn't last 10 minutes

That is set up by the producers
Mike told me he had multi sets of identical cloths so when they edit there is no change
tear one on film they all get torn to match

If I needed a million dollars transported I would trust Mike to do it for me. I can't say that about any of the other TV personalities, no matter how they dress. I used to sell lots of parts to Rust Valley, good people for sure.

He did seem like a good guy. Honest. What's the deal with the white charger rt? He sells it to some foreign looking guy and then every episode after that you see it sitting in the background.

I noticed that as well, not sure. That Charger belonged to a few friends of mine in the 70's and 80's. It was a pretty nice car, slow but nice.

Good for him. Hope he dod well on the stuff

you can see the results at electric garage auctions.
Some was good money and some very cheap.
And some cars might have left in 2 pcs

Thanks for that info. Here's a link to the results. If you filter as top selling price first, looks like only the first seven cars sold for over $10,000. Including the $12,000 convert coronet.

Seemed to like AMC, he had at least seven Javelin/AMX bodies in the mix.
