Lynch Road

Lynch Road -
not all original but numbers match, grill busted, interior crappy, front buckets seats instead of bench, then radiator and shifter stolen from body shop. but i did have Galien Goldigger put it in the Chrysler Registry.

I was conceived at the Lynch Road plant. That count for anything?

I have something in common with 99ss. That is traumatic right there.

LMAO! You will be stronger for it

Lynch Road. Wed. May 28, 1969. Hump day. Sobered up by then, and not payday. Still, 99ss's car was built there though...

You are more than welcome to hand it over to someone more appreciative if you cant handle it.. I can always use some parts:eek:s_dancing2:

My 69 road runner has a build date of Jan 30, 1969 at the Lynch Road plant. It was painted one of the special spring colors with a fender tag coded 97 and is Rallye Green.
What is the sequence number of your car? I try to find out when my Satellite was built. It's a Lynch road car and its got to be around January. But I neither have a fender tag nor a broadcast sheet.
Thanks Mario

Lynch Rd- famous for "cryptic" fender tags, different from all the rest.

Almost all of my cars have been St Louis built, but my 72 SE 400-4 is a Lynch Rd car.

We have a resident Lynch Rd tag expert here.
VERY valuable resource.

211633 are the last 6 digits.

A lot of the Hemi B-Body cars came through Lynch rd. Mine was born on Jan 27th if you go by the fender tag
My 69 Roadrunner was built the first day of pre- production, July 28, and has the first Hemi engine installed at that plant. By the way, that was on a Sunday!

Did the UAW contract allow for work on Sunday?

Well, that remains to be seen, all I can say is this: my tag has a build date of 7/28 and i know those are "projected" dates, and if real or not, maybe someone that was there at the time-and still alive- can verify that. Also, my car is no.2 in the registry and I talked in the past with the guy who owned no.1, and our build date should be the same, so maybe he could chime in. Lots of 'maybes' here...

There are some pretty good indicators for build dates at Lynch Road. While not 100%, we have found patterns in the production of components.

What is your K-frame date? It is located right above the radiator yoke support facing forward. If you provide this along with your VIN, we can take an educated guess on your actual build date.

Our cars are close, my Lynch road Road Runner has a May 25th, '69 build date on the fender tag.
