So I had a leak at the PS pump, decided to put some stop leak thinking well it probably won't stop the leak but what the heck, try it anyway. Hell now it's much worst. Off to get the pump rebuilt. Looks like the PS pumps are not available.

It could be just a bad seal Seal kits are available. It's not hard to do yourself. If I can do it anyone can.

Looks like it's the large housing O ring but it's easier for me to take it in.
It appears no one carries these any more which is surprising because it seems like most Mopars have power steering so there should be lots of cores

Check RockAuto.com

If you have the Chrysler/Thompson pump I can share the part number.

The Thompson pump seems to be the hardest to find. I think RockAuto just have Federal and Saginaw pumps. Seal kits are still available for the Thompson, so I had mine rebuilt this summer.

No idea which one but no one lists a complete pump, nothing on rockauto

Just saw a picture, looks like a federal pump

Federal?
Looks like fastest way to remove is to remove with the bracket

Try Steer and Gear or Firm Feel. I think both are vendors on here. My opinion is now is a good time to change over a Saginaw pump. You’d need different brackets and hoses, but a much superior pump.

By looking at the cap, it looks like a Thompson pump, Federals look very similar, but the cap and brackets are different. Your pump also has the large return line. This changed after 1966, with a corresponding change of the fitting on the steering box.

IMO....it looks like the Federal pump, as the high pressure fitting comes off of the ftont of the pump. If it were a Saginaw pump, the high pressure fitting gomes off of the back of the pump. If it were me, I'd remove the pump from the car to gain clear access and to de-grease the assembly. After repairs are complete, refill the system with a good grade of HYDRAULIC OIL, ISOVIS # 32 or # 46 for vane pumps.

I'm pretty sure it's federal, definitely not a saginaw
Trying to find any instock is impossible so I just have to take it to the rebuild shop. Hate to drive and lay the car up for a few days but its the safest way to do it, so everything still fits after the rebuild vs getting a replacement that may not be exact exact.

2537955 is the Federal pump I just put a seal kit on. Remove with the bracket connected to the pump.

Thanks for all the info. Just talked with the rebuilders, they'll do it in 4 hours while I wait, about $50. I use to use this rebuilder years ago when I sold power steering conversions for early Chevys, great people and family owned and operated. Nothing fancy just old fashioned work and knowledge.

Good deal. Shops in Oklahoma metro area charge $120/hour.
