still looking for a base with the 5 1/4 throat
 
There are several different bases
Unsilenced and Silenced are different
What year and version?
I have a bucket of them.
 
66/67 17 3/4 across

All 1966 are 4 7/16 (approx.) base
All 67's with cal emissions are 4 7/16 (approx)
Non Cal 67 440 Magnums are 5 1/8 (approx)
I "think" all 67 383 4 brl. were 4 7/16 as weff
perhaps there are some experts on here that know for sure?
68 up ARE all 5 1/8 (approx)

This is how they are marked the ones that I Have anyway=
I am not a collecter = Just a Elderly racer
I do not have any non Cal as I lived in Calif back then.

On my 66 dual snorkel, in order to run an Edelbrock carb, I took the base from a 69 roadrunner dual snorkel model. It has the larger diameter bore. I’m sure some more later models are the same.

I’ve done the same thing…..just wanted to get one for the 66
 
I wanted the to keep 66 top as well and this was the only way I could do it with what I had. Nothing like the early dual snorkels!

Interesting. I’ve been hunting for one like that for a while. I have a few dual snorkel units but the base over all diameters are bigger than the upper for my 67

This is the exact set up I was looking for. I want to use the top off my 67 cleaner with a usable base plate. What does your base measure out to be? Like 17 3/4 across?

John....year really does not matter to me.......I just need one that matched the top I have. 68/69 would be fine....as long us the upper matched the lower.....so like 17 3/4 total across
 
Really need to find one. Took me forever to get the dual snorkel and I really want to use it.....
