Is this clutch acceptable

I havent bought anything yet. I have an sfi approved billet alum flywheel picked out.

I would hold on the flywheel.
At your power level, you will definitely need to take a system approach.
I think at over 600 hp or so they do recommend a dual disk and I think they sometimes require a specific flywheel
 
A McLeod FW202 is a decent flywheel.
 
If you like your Toes on your feet ?
then make damn sure you are using a STEEL Scattershield on whatever Flywheel with that Clutch.. please don't tell me this is an "oem" Flywheel from 50 years ago ?

and remember,
even time you depress that 3500-4000 Lb Clutch ?

is the force with which you are trying to stuff the Crank out the FRONT of the Block ?
Did you remember to File pressurized Oil Feed to the Thrust surface on the #3 Main Bearing ?
Just say'in..... that if you didn't ?
you may wish to limit time frames sitting at stop lights with the Clutch pedal 'depressed' pushing on that Thrust Brg ?
Some good advice - but I was taught 40 years ago never to sit with the clutch depressed.
Pop that sucker in neutral instead and let the clutch relax...
 
Ill call brewers and just have them set me up with everything. Ill report back and let everyone know what they do. That way in case anyone else builds something similar they will have an idea. I was hopin someone has on here
 
Here’s an often overlooked step, IMO.

take your flywheel and clutch to your local machinist, and have it balanced.

My, whiz bang, SFI Hays steel flywheel and McLeod clutch were “neutral” balanced, but required some work to be.

I have a little ingot welded to the pressure plate, and they had to touch the flywheel with a 1/2” drill to get them corrected.

doesn’t cost much, and it may save you a vibration headache down the line.

Ed just asked if you can run a 10.5 on a 11 inch fly wheel and yes you can.
I only ask because that might conceivably provide more options for new clutch choices
for someone like me who has the 11" flywheel and bellhousing with the 18 spline...
especially if you're not a fan of the diaphragm-style plates.

Ed my brother and I installed a 10.5 disc ahead of a 18 spline in his R/T challenger that had a 11" fly wheel.
I know he ordered it from passion but I do not recall the brand.
I can find out 1st of the week ?

Silly me, I always got along fine with the stock clutches in these cars (of course, I've never really
had any beastly powerful engines, just the usual "magnum" stuff). Heck, the replacement stuff
from places like NAPA worked fine, too.
I've never had to replace a clutch that wore or got wonky that I installed, just ones I'd inherit from
previous owners that were obviously already shot and I only used "hot rod" ones a couple times.
I remember liking Hays stuff (and I think a Schaefer once?).
