Anybody bought AMD valve covers?
Any good? Any problems?

The ones I bought for my MW project, 6-bolt, BB, plain, were terrible. Needed a lot of work, to make them look good, and seal.
Early offering on them, so may be better now ?

I’m pretty sure they stopped offering them some time ago probably due to the fact that they weren’t right. I bought a set in chrome and bolt the holes are off.

Says they’re in stock on their website.

Glad I asked.

I bought a set two years ago to replace a set of Mopar Performance Black wrinkle. I had no problems with fit or sealing. They are a same copy of a friends 1970 valve covers, except the oil filler cap goes vertical instead of horizontal when it is twisted on. I can live with that.

I ran a set on my 71 440. Same experience as mentioned above. Took several tries to get them to seal. And a couple holes were off on each side too. Finally found an original set that once repaired and painted went on the engine.

I bought a set and the bolt holes were off,had to oblong then to work. Was not happy about it since it took 3 hours to install a set of valve covers. :BangHead:
