Need to replace the lock cylinder in the ignition and have done this on a GM many years ago but not sure on a Mopar. I think GM had a pin hole a wire was inserted in. On a Mopar, probably insert key, turn to accessory (?) and the what?

Searched internet and forum without luck but just dawned on me I haven’t looked in the FSM. If it’s in there I’ll look it up.

Thanks

Yes there's a release pin on the switch housing, pull the whole switch out and then you'll see it. The manual just says something like "unplug switch, remove and replace it..."

There is a spring loaded pin on the side of the switch which has to be pushed in. The original key has to be in the switch to pull the tumbler out after the pin is pushed AND the new tumbler has to have its key inserted to install it into the switch.

Great - thanks for the responses.
