Lol, do we have to do this again? "The devil said beware of the storm ".. I said, "I am the storm". To paraphrase! At least the fires will slow down.

Nevermind then. I am quite behind the times here:drinks:
I'm just interested in 'why' every-single-time I look at the forcast it's more.
And if I do (and I will) look again and it is more again I may blab again about it again.
But I will try not to...:blah:

Y'all get all the natural disasters, don't ya?
Had any pestilence lately? :)

Yeah, here comes the rain. About 3-1/2" in the next week. I have been very busy getting everything tarped, getting cars and firewood covered, truck project moved indoors, and all the important outdoor projects wrapped up. I suspect it will be a wee bit ugly.

Its amazing how they can forecast how screwed you are right down to the hundredth of an inch. I remember one of those atmospheric rivers hitting Seattle about 15 years ago, pretty humbling experience the power of nature

And we are dry as a bone here in Southern Nevada. Sure need some of that rain here.

I am on call for work through Sunday night. Start vacation on Monday. I have a feeling my vacation is going to turn into two weeks of heavy OT lol. Stay safe, let the good times roll.

forecast model showing a 976 low pressure. If it were a tropical system coming this way, everyone around here would be flocking to the stores, boarding up, some would even be leaving, for a cat 2 Hurricane. Looks like y’all will be getting that rain you need from top to bottom of the state. Just don’t need it all at once. Be safe.

We here in Northern Nevada are going to get real wet for a change. Already some snow in the Western Sierras but I'm guess a lot more. Evan at 5000ft, planning on getting some as well. We need it so all is good. Won't even stop from hitting the Gun Show tomorrow either...cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:

I’ll believe it all when I see it.
I’m a die hard waterfowl hunter and fisherman. I don’t know how many times over the years I’m sitting in the duck blind waiting for the big storm that’s forecast and all I get is a sun burn.
My favorite fishing lakes are low, Tahoe is low and most of my duck hunting areas are bone dry.
Bring it on!

we get 2-3 inches at one time in eastern nebraska fairly often,,, but things just keep rollin!

3" of rain is a whole hell of a lot. Liable to male 3-5" of snow at higher elevations.

...........
It never rains in California, but girl don't they warn ya
It pours, man it pours
