Looks as though my car is going to a new owner….43 years of owning this car has been a great ride but in life we all go thru phases and Big Blue will once again continue to roll down the road….just with someone else…..I wish the new owner blessing with this car…..being a few years from 70 I realize that I’m not able to work on this car like I have done since first getting it…I’m not going to continue pay thousands and thousands to have things done to it….I’ve received a fair offer for the condition it’s in…..it needs work….Muscle Car restoration has just simply become Too Expensive verses the last time I had mine done…..23 years ago….I can’t believe where we are with the costs of maintaining these cars…..Anyway to all you Mopar Enthusiasts and all Muscle car Guys And Gals keep on Cruising down the track and street…

owning that car as long as you did is very cool. you have any more, and of course a few pics of the one leaving as well, and welcome.

You're not alone pard. Have chatted with a lot of guys doing the same hard as it is. I expect to do the same in a few years hopefully later than sooner; but so far able to do most of the work...some things now I let a shop do not having a lift. No one in the family has the affection for my car I'd like to pass it to and I'd feel better selling it myself than let my offspring do it after I'm gone. All the best to you. When I bought mine in 1995, the guy selling it was in bad health and never will forget him watching me drive out of his driveway with it...

I'm thinking of a song.

I would have loved to give this car to my nephew but quite honestly he’s only 12….mom and dad work…the kids are very active in school….and they vacation as much as possible…..mom and dad talked it over and said as much as they would love their son get this car the timing just isn’t right…..

As Elvis even said….Easy Come…..Easy Go…..we really own nothing …..just posses things for awhile…

I'm in the same boat and it's sinking had my 43 yrs also.:D 72 yrs old and crawling under the car doesn't have the same appeal. You need 5 eyes to watch for idiots. I hate thinking about regrets but leaving my wife or kids to sell it isn't appealing either.

Best thing old timers can do is just die…..that way we don’t have to worry about our Muscle cars being sold before our eyes…..

Dayam, I'm your distant cousin! You could have at least offered it to me first..... :D

That's a pretty sad welcome. We all get it, time waits for no one!!
