So digging through my "junk" I ran across this jar of keys and locks. Just wondering what this tag is from....some have it some don't. This is the junk I found as well.

Is there a number on it? If so it's the code to cut a duplicate key.

There is...wondering if its dealer or aftermarket.

Thanks....kinda cool. When I was about 16 and had my cuda, my mom was the lady you called to price all the junk in your house when someone died ,moved or whatever reason. This came from a house where the guy worked for Chrysler and the house was in the darkest part of Mt Clemens....we were the only white people there. Scary
..this is one of the things they gave me....I have other jars someplace.

Think I still have a tag around here some place.....

Found one....same thing. Record number and destroy tag.....ES 0177

Trying to take a good pic of it.....but....

Could this be from previous owner? There are people who leave their signatures on all things that once belonged to them. In fact, that it is not a universal trait to leave marks on cars before selling it. Some car owners may take great care to keep their cars in excellent condition, while others may not be as concerned about the condition of the car when they sell it. Ultimately, locksmith in barbican might suggest where is this tag from. Anyway, I don't think it carries a significant importance or attention.

New cars came with key tags to make duplicates, simple as that. As for all that stuff and the jar, you're killin many here slowly showing that stuff!
