Does anyone here have an original front bumper from a 68-69 Plymouth? Under the front turn signal assemblies that are in the front bumper, there are tiny rubber stops. These mount under the turn assemblies and keep them from contacting the bumper. You will see a little hole in the bumper under the assemblies if you are missing them. They used to come in kits with all the other bumper stops (glove box, ash tray, license plate, etc.), but either do not anymore or aren't even close to what the originals look like. I am trying to find one so these can be reproduced to look like the originals, Jim from Detroit Muscle would like one to do that. I told him if I can find one I would send it to him.
I am sure an original would be dry rotted by now, but if can be removed carefully and remain mainly intact, he should be able to reproduce it. If anyone has one and can remove it carefully (maybe soak it in Armour All for a little while) and would be able to mail it to me or Jim (I can give you the address), this would be very helpful.
Below is a picture of what I mean (not an original stopper).

Thanks,
Mark

Have you called Part's Mix. They had stuff no one else had. Did not put them in my bumper and just figured it was an hole for something but never thought of a bumper to be their. Good luck. Blue.

I just bought the “repaint seal kit” from DM and I swear they were in the front turn package.

Blue - I've looked at PartsMix website, along with AMD, YearOne, and Classic Industries. I don't see a rubber bumper stop kit for the 68-69 Plymouth B's where as AMD, Y1 and CI do have (but not the correct bumpers for this) kits. The only one that is close is the AMD kit but someone who has had an original stop said it isn't exact.

1STMP - Just did a quick look through those links and didn't see anything that is close.

BMosely - Detroit Muscle (Jim) is asking for one of these. Can you post pics of what you have? I've looked at DM's parts real quick and didn't see them.

I've looked at the FSM, including restoration guides (even the David Wise book I have) and other's have as well, there isn't any reference or part numbers for these rubber stops.
If anyone has information on these stops, please share what you have found.
Again, if someone has access to an original stopper, please let me know they can be reproduced.

1STMP - yes, saw those but I think they are a little too tall. The description mentions where they are used and no mention for this area. Just need to find 1 original.....

What's the hole dia and distance between
bumper and lense?

My car is at the shop so I can't measure the hole or any distance. I have AMD bumpers and they have the hole too. I think the assemblies have some adjustment so they should sit right over the bumper. The pic I have posted, I believe the assembly is mounted a little further "deep" so it doesn't sit over the bumper. Here is another pic of how the hole is under the assembly (assembly mounted more "shallow").

Great Mr. B. Would you be willing to mail that to Jim at Detroit Muscle so he can have those reproduced? I have his address which I can message it to you.

OK, got another source for the rubber stopper and it is being sent to Detroit Muscle for reproduction. When I hear any more information on them, I will post for everyone.
