Brake Booster Question on a Restomod

I've got a kit that came with 1" bore, Willwood master cylinder but no booster.

I'm considering upgrading to a modern, universal (non-Chinese), 8" dual diaphragm booster but I'm unclear on the bracketry that would be required and the connection to the stock brake pedal linkage.

Other option would be to stick with a rebuilt original style booster.

Can anybody steer me to an expert or reliable source for information regarding upgraded braking systems for theses cars?

So the only negative I've heard about hydroboost is that if your motor quits, you don't have any brakes.

I seem to have plenty of real estate for a booster.
