* 4 different Top Fuel drivers with no head-to-head matchup in the opening round of eliminations. There is a possibility of a head-to-head matchup in the 2nd round of eliminations if both drivers survive the Round 1.
* 5 different Funny Car drivers with one head-to-head matchup in the opening round of eliminations between #8 qualifier J.R. Todd (1 pick) and #9 qualifier Bob Tasca III (1 pick). There is also a possibility of a head-to-head matchup in the 2nd round of eliminations if both drivers survive Round 1.
* 4 different Pro Stock drivers with no head-to-head matchups in the opening round of eliminations. The earliest possibility of a head-to-head matchup is in the semi-final round if the drivers survive until then.
* 5 different Pro Stock Motorcycle drivers with no head-to head matchups in the opening round of eliminations. There is a possibility of two head-to-head matchups in the 2nd round of eliminations if all drivers survive Round 1.

I had 3 event winners

T/F, P/S & P/SM
I loved seeing P/S Elite Erica Enders-Stephens get eliminated
that made my day

my F/C driver Ron Capps
(my favorite NHRA driver)
won the 2021 F/C championship, his 2nd
(hard to believe he hasn't won 10)
but he went out in the 2nd rd IIRC
that gave the edge to Matt, but;
then Matt Hagan lost, he had to win the event to be champ
so Ron Capps was champion

he has some sort of announcement in Dec. about his future in NHRA
I assume he will be in another or his own team
I wonder if NAPA will stay with him too, they should
I wish him the best of luck

Congratulations to 'shittyslant6' (FABO) and 'stroked340' (FABO) for sharing the 2021 NHRA Finals "Top Picker Eliminator" title with an outstanding total of 253.0 points each. They both picked the class winner in Top Fuel, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle, their Funny Car pick lost in the semi-final round of eliminations. They were both helped with ET bonus points in Pro Stock and Speed bonus points in both Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle.
'Budnicks' (FBBO) and 'ocdart' (FABO) were the event runners-up with 240.5 points each.
