Just want to say hi and thanks!! I picked up a ‘68 charger diff for my ‘61 Chrysler. The 68 through 70 B body is the closest in width to the 61, so no cutting required - only needed to move the perches 3/4 in inwards. Mopar John hooked me up with 2 axles. Rebuilt the brakes thanks to info and pics in here. Bolted everything in place today including a new drive shaft to eliminate the old ball and trunion joint. Onto retro fitting the parking brake to the original 61 cable!

Welcome from Alabama, great to see work in progress on these classics.

Welcome from central Illinois! Like those detail pics. Some top-side pics of your '61 would also be good to see.

Now THAT is beautiful! A true 'milestone' car as the '61 was a one year only design and the last year for the Windsor/Newport in USA. While a redesigned Windsor model continued to be sold in Canada until '66, in the USA it was superceded by the 300 in '62. Curious as to whether yours has the dual-quad RB 413 or otherwise? More pics please.
