Hey guys, I've been in search of the whereabouts of my Grandpa's 1968 Plymouth Sport Satellite. I've received the original options sheet on it from the dealer where my Grandpa bought it.
The car was produced at the Lynch Road Plant in Detroit, and sold to Hornbogen Auto Sales of Marquette, MI.
It came with the 230 horsepower 318 ci V-8 mated to a TorqueFlite automatic transmission.
Extra Options:
Code 307 (White Vinyl Top)
Code 31W (White Accent Stripes)
Code 355 (Light Package)
Code 395 (TorqueFlite Automatic Trans)
Code 418 (Rear Windshield Defogger)
Code 421 (AM Radio)
Code 451 (Power Brakes)
Code 456 (Power Steering)
Code 486 (Console)
Code 522 (Tinted Windshield)
Code 536 (Drivers side Remote-Control Mirror)
Code 550 (Seat Belts Deluxe)
Code 579 (Undercoating & Hood pad)
Code 581 (14 in. Deluxe Wheel C over)
Code ??? (7.35x14 Whitewall Tires)
I've heard they produced 21,014 2 dr. Hardtop Sport Satellites in 1968. It was sold to a girlin Menasha, WI a few years later. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

a,

I worked at that dealership in the early 70's. What was the last name of your grandparents.

That is a tall order.

...but it has happened here...recently.

Code 33 (7.35x14 Whitewall Tires)

Having, or posting, a VIN that is easy to read and search will help. Also, see if you can find the full six digit SO number. That helps guys like me match a fender tag to a windows sticker as the VIN is not on a 68 fender tag. If all we have is a picture of a tag, we need the SO number too tie things together.

SO number is not present on the Window Sticker.

I remember a Barb Hammerberg. What color was the car? Curious on how you were able to get the window sticker?
My Grandpa's name is Kenneth Hammerberg, has a wife named Nancy. It was a burgundy or a red color. They kept the window sticker in a file with all the other vehicles they've bought.

Barb was his sister in-law.

You can see the full SO underneath the head of the yellow arrow pointing to the last digits of the SO in post 5.

VIN: RP23F8A182766

Sales Order # is weak: 18794x? so...
187940 187941 187942 187943 187944 187945 187946 187947 187948 187949

That name brings back memories. When I was in college in Marquette, mid 90's, Hornbogen used cars was still around. Hornbogen was still alive, and one of the kids drove around in a FM3 convertible challenger.
I wish you luck on your search.
