For one, my parent's new/special-order 1971 383 auto Road Runner was delivered with a vacuum secondary four-barrel Holley (California Car).

I had a ‘68 Imperial Crown that had a Holley from the factory. The side float one with the fuel crossover tube. 4160?
Not a B body tho.

My 1970 California Road Runner came with a Holley. If I remember correctly, non-California models did not get the Holley's

In 1969, the green 330 hp. 383's came with Holley's. The orange 335 hp. came with AVS. A friend has a 1969 SuperBee with factory AC. it has a green 383 with a Holley. I bought a new SuperBee in 1969 and it had the orange motor with an AVS. Another guy in town bought a 1969 Coronet 500 with the green 383 and his car had a Holley. Believing all the hype that hot rod magazines were putting out about how superior Holley's were to other carbs, I thought I got gypped.

Yeah a 68 NewYorker 440 had a Holley. I think 70-71 the B bodies and E bodies with 383's got them.

My 383 magnum 4 speed '70 Charger came with a Holley. XP29N0G...St. Louis, MO. plant.

Every 1970 B and E body with a 383 4 bbl had a Holley. No matter what the combo was. A/C, auto 4 speed, air grabber or not, and N95 emissions cars.

my brothers new 69 roadrunner with factory A/C had a holley. they were actually quite troublesome, as he had to readjust it every time the temps changed. My 69 383 cuda has a holley, as does a 72 340 I removed from a 72 Roadrunner.

All '72 440 HP's used the same basic 4160 as the '70-71 383 HP's.

I need a good source to send my 4160 to be restored for my 69 cuda. can anyone refer me to a reliable carb restoration shop?

I had a 1969 Sport Satellite 383 with a factory holley

Not all ‘68 New Yorkers. I pulled this one in ‘88, it’s a 375HP TNT. It has the AVS.:D

The thread title is what B and E bodies came with Holley.

All 1966-1971 440 HP engines came with carter carbs. Any body style, A B C and E.

So was a 1971 Dodge Charger 500 WP23N1A****** with 383 auto trans and factory A/C. The carb was a HOLLEY 4160 R-4668 with vacuum secondaries and hot idle compensator valve because of the A/C and the 50 States emission control requirements.
A friend built a 1970 Chrysler Hurst Convertible Tfibute csr from a 1970 Chrysler 300 Convertible which had an origional 440 low HP engine and a Holley 4160 carb, can't recall the R number.

Sorry for the derail. It actually says B bodies. My Charger and ‘Cuda have 440 HP engines in them. They came with Holley carbs. Three a piece!:D
