Hi my name is Mike and I have a 1969 Dodge Charger. This is my second Charger. I sold my first one in 1986. I always regretted selling it and of course the prices skyrocketed...pushing them out of reach for me. Until now.

I bought my current Charger in Southern California in December, 2020. I have been smiling like a kid since then. The car has a built up 440, four-speed, 3.91 Suregrip rearend, and is in great condition. It started life as a 318 car, now has the RT badges and paint stripe. It was 95% restored when I bought it. I have been doing little additions/upgrades and got the engine running well. Most of what I have had to do has been replace or repair things that suffered from sitting (i.e., dried gaskets, etc.).

I have used the FBBO site as a resource for figuring out issues with the car for months, finally joined officially. I plan to contribute and share what I am learning about my car as I go.

Looking forward to this!

Mike

Welcome from Georgia.

Welcome, but FYI, most of us here prefer that you take the face diaper off when outside.

Welcome from Missouri.

Welcome from Illinois and congrats on finding this nice '69. Found my CA car in the Bay Area a few months ago and haven't taken the black plates off yet either. Don't intend to until I get warned or fined, maybe not even then. Stealth mode!
