Hi my name is Mike and I have a 1969 Dodge Charger. This is my second Charger. I sold my first one in 1986. I always regretted selling it and of course the prices skyrocketed...pushing them out of reach for me. Until now.
I bought my current Charger in Southern California in December, 2020. I have been smiling like a kid since then. The car has a built up 440, four-speed, 3.91 Suregrip rearend, and is in great condition. It started life as a 318 car, now has the RT badges and paint stripe. It was 95% restored when I bought it. I have been doing little additions/upgrades and got the engine running well. Most of what I have had to do has been replace or repair things that suffered from sitting (i.e., dried gaskets, etc.).
I have used the FBBO site as a resource for figuring out issues with the car for months, finally joined officially. I plan to contribute and share what I am learning about my car as I go.
Looking forward to this!
Mike
