New 71 Plymouth Roadrunner owner

Dealer should cough up those white steel wheels and load them with it. They were already painted to match that car. Good luck with your new purchase.
Never even asked about them. Not my style. The rally’s are perfect. I still believe the car went thru another person between it for sale on Craigslist and the Texas dealer.

Wednesday night last minute Thanksgiving supply run.

Thanks for the help with the measurements on the emblems and decals. Got them installed yesterday. Now I hopefully will stop getting the “Hey man. Hey. Is that a Baracuda?” at the gas station. Lol.

Here ya go. DECAL > front edge of decal is 29 1/4" from front edge of qtr panel, lower edge of dust trail is 5 1/2 " above bodyline of wheel opening. Name plate > front is 28 5/8" from front edge of qtr panel, lower edge of letters is 4 5/8" above bodyline ofwheel opening. NOTE: bodyline ofwheel opening, NOT the edge where the wheel opening molding is.
Thanks. Measurements worked out great.

You're welcome ! I'll add this understatement, with those rallys, your car looks freakin' great !!
Thanks sir. I love the rallys. A lot. Man this car just rides and cruises so freaking good. We have just been burning up the small towns and backroads since we got it.

71's drove so nice, quieter than the older cars too.

The wife, oldest son and dog drove the roadrunner to pick the youngest son up from school. Been on the phone today with Randy from bouchillon performance today. I believe he has everything I need to get the AC and heater hooked back up.

Talked with Vintage air for a system. They sent me to Mr. Rex at Affordable Street Rods. Man I’m I glad they did. He stocks a lot of the Vintage air stuff. Vintage air was 18 weeks out. He had everything I needed. Super great guy. I am using a system meant for a 1971 Challenger/Cuda. Will have to modify a few things. But it’s better than starting with nothing.

They have car shows in January

LOL

Car looks great

Beautiful Roadrunner mine will be there soon. Have you started on the AC project yet? I just ordered the same kit from the same company. I figured worst case if it doesn’t fit, I will put it on my ‘Cuda, best case It will work and I will have to buy another one for my ‘Cuda. I have a non-AC firewall. I may have missed it, was yours factory air?

yes. Factory AC. I will be posting my progress. I have everything in except the evap case. They are saying the end of this month. I’m the same way. I have watched videos of them installing the kit in cuda’s. I’m sure I can make this work easier than starting from scratch.
