440 Intake - painted bottom?

I was just sandblasting a stock 440 intake (69) and I can see it was painted on the bottom. Looks like OEM Hemi Orange paint just making sure I should paint it vs. leaving natural? If paint should I expect to smell cooking paint when I run it?

The factory didn’t paint it under there. Whatever paint cold get there when bolted to the engine.

you will smell the paint cooking on the top of the heat crossovers anyway.
