Have a oil pan that came in a bunch of stuff In my 65.
Someone wrote hemi on a piece of tape on the bottom.
There are no numbers stamped on the bottom.
Is there a way to identify?
Thanks

Drain plugs are either front of pan or rear. Yours looks to be in the rear which makes me think. 971

Shown above is our original factory USED "402" oil pan, Chrysler part number 2532401. See the table at the bottom of this page for exact applications, but in general, this pan was used on most 1966-71 "B" and "E" bodies with high performance 383's and 440's. Includes internal baffle.
These pans are NO LONGER AVAILABLE, however our 200-1123 Reproduction Street Hemi pan works great in the same applications, and actually holds slightly more oil than the 402.

It looks to me like a 65 big block pan, not hemi. The hemi pan had a baffle on the front and rear of the sump.

Not Hemi for sure. Sump is pretty much in middle so early B-body?

Someone probably wrote Hemi on it to sell it for more money.
