Looking for some newer model bucket seats that fit the b-body and are comfortable. I know there are many "new" options available, but I'm thinking more like take-outs from another car (mopar, or not). Also, am I missing something or would I have to look at seats from 2-door models so that they fold forward for rear seat access? or are they easily modified to allow them to fold if they come from a 4-dr car? Any suggestions/pics appreciated!

I spent 28 years in an auto upholstery shop. One of the main issues will be where and how the seats bolt in to the car. There must be some type of structure under the floor pan otherwise it will be unsafe. Also seat frame height will be an issue to resolve prior to making a purchase. I'd take some measurements and go to a pick and pull yard and look.. Good luck with your search.

A friend picked up some 2018 Malibu seats for the 49 Check they are building at the Autorama swap meet for $20. Driver is electric, the passenger is not. They elevate pretty high, probably 3-4".
They do have side airbags but won't be connected. You could probably pick them up pretty cheap at a wrecking yard.
Very supportive, have bolsters and pretty comfortable. They are easier to get in and out than my Procars.
I agree that you will/should have some reinforced plates where the studs go through the floor. I used a 3x3x 1/8 plate at each mounting point to help disperse the load.

My 69 Coronet 440 2 door hardtop has buckets from what I have been able to research are 78-79 Aspen R/T seats and center console.
The headrests are a little big but the seats were in the car when I bought it.
I will have to say they are quite comfortable.
As @Mike Brini stated you need to make sure to reinforce under the floor pan if they don't utilize the original mounting holes.
Generally speaking most bucket seats were in 2 door cars so they fold forward.

Not new these days, but Mirada and Omni buckets are both very comfortable

I usually go onto eBay and just type in bucket seats and look at the different styles/types. You might want to click "used" or you will get 500 pages of the aftermarket fake racing seats. There are some really nice seats out there but you just need to find what you like.
