The pic you referenced is one of maybe ten on the planet that had those factory iron tri-y headers. If you just want a panel to repair the cutout for fenderwell headers, that shouldn't be too hard to find.
(Those headers in your Pic are about $15,000 a pair, yep, just the manifolds.)
I have no interest in the manifolds at all. My car has the fender apron that I am assuming was to except the manifolds. Looking for one of them? Hoping it's not as rare as the TRI Ys

Well that was the point I was trying to make, apparently badly done. Because of those giant tri-y's, those cars that had them, had a very special, VERY rare splash panel for clearance, much more rare than the average maxwedge.
 
A Chevy friend once asked. "If Hemi is so great? Than why aren't all engines Hemies?" My Answer.

1st. Cost. Obviously casting then machining a hemispheric combustion chamber design requires more specialized processes. (Curves are always tougher than straight edge.) Plus the dual rocker shaft design is flat out more expensive.

2nd. Single pushrod hemi design is not the best overall piston delivery design. Multi valve multi cam head design can and does deliver more flow. (But of course cost even more per Cubic inch.)

A multi valve hemispheric design? I guess that has been designed and even built. But the hemi design just doesn't give enough performance increase vs pent roof to quantify a production attempt as it does with 2 valve engines.

It was this reason why I thought I would try a DOHC 904 ci Marine V8 in a Pro Street build of an E-body '70 Cuda? The car was so heavily modified. (Including firewall cut for 7" engine setback on motor plate to the front frame rails.) Since this attempt? E-body prices have exploded. Making my build blasphemy to the E-body boys. But we have all experienced the "Who knew?" part of this classic Mopar ownership?

I am sorry for the misunderstanding I thought just the manifolds where so rare. I guess this piece will have to be fabricated. Or just leave the apron as is?
