@Linden I know your pain. I lost my companion of 47 years 5 ½ years ago. She was a car girl. She knew how to drive a stick before I knew how to drive! Part of my Max’s story involves her.

You Fifties Ford guys, did you get your interior from ABC in Philadelphia? Ron is a good friend. He did Max's interior for me.

Yes always from ABC. I purchased at least 3 sets over the years. Hope he is doing well. the Ford crowd misses him terribly. Thanks and GB

welcome and sorry for your loss I know what your feeling. It sucks ,hope you enjoy your Hemi

@Linden Ron's still doing upholstery. He's 82 so it takes him a little longer these days! I helped him not long ago. He did a '59 retractable interior in the correct black cloth. Last time I was there he was doing seats for a '54 hardtop and he had just finished most of the interior of a '56 Monterey in orange for a customer for Hershey! He goes by Ron's Upholstery now, 215-378-0894.

Welcome to the site!! I've had a 'quiet' love affair with the 57-59 Fords (58 not so much but was in love with the 58 Edsel when it came out) and was looking for a 57 Ranchero for several years back in the mid 70's but could never find one that was half way decent. Anyways, I 'lost' my wife too but it was one of those deals where she up and left one day after over 30 years of marriage. We got married in 86 but met in 1970. Can't really say how I feel about that but I'm sorry to hear of your plight. Gotta keep on keeping on.....

I confess I love 63 Ford Galaxie 500's with 406 , tri-power carbs and a 4 speed.
Sorry for your loss man, I know it's a tough time right now and may God put his healing hand on you
The Traitor poster is Golden
Still think those rims look real good on the car !

Man that one looks good. I see spell check says it is Galaxy not Galaxie so I fixed it. Ugh
Trust me the rims will grow on you. If you do go to steelies and caps which I also think look fantastic, keep those Radirs like women keep shoes and you can switch them out for whatever occasion.

I am sorry for your loss, I was touched by your story and I wish you a lot of strength. I'm new here too and the group is amazing.

Welcome from PA!

My first love is Mopar cars, but each of the big three (and even AMC) have made cars I'd be proud to own. You certainly jumped to the top of the heap with a Hemi! Depending on your ability to tune cars, I suggest you make sure the Hemi is tuned well. It will make you smile either when you open the hood or put your foot down!
