I will answer your question, then tell you what you need to know, cool?
1. You can just unzip the zipper to let the back of the convertible "stay open" with no glass/plastic. There should be two 4" straps with snaps on them. You snap those onto the male half of the snaps on the top bow. Then you lift the top a little bit (I put a 2x4 on the top of the windshield). This takes the tension off the window & you just unzip. That's the way my aftermarket top works anyway. I've driven my car a few times like that in the summer (no A/C).
2. To replace the glass - the back glass (or plastic) is permanently attached, so you can't replace "just the glass". However, your convertible top is 2-piece. The main, big piece + another layer only in the back that contains the glass. You will need a convertible shop to install the glass. The convertible top has to be 1/2 way removed (un-stapled) all along the body line and around the glass area...basically up to the back "bow" of the roof. The shop installs the new top piece containing the glass & re-stapled it and the main part of the top back onto the car.
