Occasionally I'll take my roadrunner to local car shows. I usually just park at the end of one of the rows and open the hood. I usually don't stay long, just long enough to look the other cars over and get some ideas for projects for mine.
Last Saturday night we went to a local spot and didn't really expect much as it was Christmas Day, but there were actually quite a few cars. We parked at the end of the row like always and started looking at the cars parked near us.
About five cars down from me was a silver Charger that my Wife fell in love with. She kept commenting to the owner how much she liked it and asked about how it rides and if there was a stereo system. They were talking and laughing and I wandered away to look at the next row of cars. When I came back a little later I didn't see the two of them. Then I realized they were standing behind the Charger talking. I thought they were standing a little too close and so I walked down to my roadrunner and knelt down to peek around the back of the car and see if I could tell what they were up to. Neither of them could see me, but the Charger's owner gave my Wife a piece of paper which I assumed was his number and for a moment it looked to me like they were about to start kissing.
That's when I noticed some light rust on the end of my bumper. Not a lot, just enough to see up close. I'm wondering, can this be buffed out or should I take it to the chrome shop that did the plating?.

I would definitely take it up with the plating shop. Unacceptable.

I'm confused
chronologically, Last Saturday was not Christmas, it was the 8th of January
And you are worried about your Bumper?
Pull it off and rechrome
We can not see the bumper

Gee, strange post....

Knew something was up about half way through the story lol. BUT....my wife would talk to anyone that had any kind of jewelry on and especially if it was something out of the ordinary. I'm betting the X is now hooked up with some guy that has that kind of crap :D

Yes - he was joking about his bumper being rusty...

Something's amiss including my bearings with the photo...when was your bumper re-plated? Ahh, that won't buff out...doesn't look like it was chromed ever.

I think that's part of the joke Ron..

After 27 years with one, I traded her in for another. Second one love cars and "car stuff', motorcycles (I got her one) now we ride together yet apart. But I did lose my back rest. We built a 30x40 shed for the toys, etc. My suggestion trade her for the silver charger????

YOU GUYS CRACK ME UP !! Here, this guys telling us a horrible story, and everyone has to make a joke out of it. WELL, IT'S NOT A JOKE ! This is serious life situation, and all you can do is make funny comments ? THAT BUMPER HAS TO BE ADDRESSED VERY QUICKLY, OR THE RUST WILL JUST GET WORSE !!!
