New Direct Connection catalog

Bit by bit, and the people that like them. Think about, just as a number, 1981. This vintage car was from the ‘20’s. Luckily for many reasons these are much more relevant than a ‘20’s car was in ‘81 or a ‘30’s car in ‘91 but time still rolls along.

These dual plane intakes won’t last long at this price.

Nothing spells warm and fuzzy like "No warranty: sold as-is."

When my friends and I really got into cars, I got hold of a Direct Connection catalog and price list (I'm thinking 1979-1980???)
The prices were mind boggling. I remember (hazily) the price for a 340 piston as around $40 and wondering if that was for the whole set, since $320 seemed implausible. Then I wondered who in the world would ever be able to afford this stuff.
I still wonder the same thing.

Enjoy it while you can, this will soon replace all performances catalogs!

Is that a rebadged performer rpm? I was hoping they would sell a low deck intake as the pickings are getting slim.

I just went to the website and the part number & price are for some bullshit challenger air cleaner.

Although I agree 100% about the phasing out of 60’s car products, least they could do is make sure what they carry is listed correctly.

That part number is an air filter element, not a manifold at all.

This shows how much they care about us and our old cars.

Mopar Performance parts for our older cars have been pretty well dead up here in Canada for a few years, now.

Yeah, a bit weak on the proof reading; or maybe a Freudian slip of some sort:rolleyes:
