Trying to get my dash lights working can anyone tell me what size bulbs go where I believe it uses two size bulbs
you have no bulbs at all? did you see if power is at the sockets? Check fuse and dimmer switchTrying to get my dash lights working can anyone tell me what size bulbs go where I believe it uses two size bulbs
Data Plate, Sorry for this reply, I miss read your messages and thought you had " no bulbs at all " meaning that was your problem, missing bulbs. When I had my dash pulled apart I replaced all the bulbs. The ones that illuminate the gauges were GE 1895 I believe. I could be wrong about this. The one thing that stood out was a lot of the bulbs no longer use the part numbers in the FSM and had to be cross referenced to another part number. Hope this helps you. I ordered all the bulbs for the car from Zoro.
Ok he did the cluster. That has nothing to do with your dash lights.. They all are on wire, no circuit boards.I just got the dash back from a guy Rachmaninov he went over the whole dash cluster said everything works and was ok he did fix the tach and put a quartz clock in but after putting the cluster back in the gauge lights and clock don’t work not show what to do from here just spent a lot of money on it
You need to get the manual and look at the wiring schematic. All the functions you are comparing or looking at have nothing, nothing to do with the dash lights.Headlights work fine and the high beam light also works I have the tach hooked up right to the fuse box and I put a test light on the clock/tach gauge housing and the test light lite up meaning the whole unit is showing power is that normal if the sockets aren’t getting power which I think is happening where is there feed source through the harness ?
Ignition on. Getting the wiring diagram will show you these things. Thanks all great advice I will look at it today and yes the guy said all my gauges and switches are good one other question I have the tach hooked up straight from the fuse box should that always be a hot lead or should I put it on a fuse when it’s only hot with ignition on
