We may get winds in excess of 70mph tonight and it has started to blow so I was checking out this site for real-time info.
It came in real handy during the wild fires as you could see the prevailing wind patterns and have a little better guess as to where a fire was heading.
Thought I'd pass it along in case anyone was interested in weather type stuff.

The wind blew here last night.45 mph+ Sound like a train running past the house.
High winds are common in the Colorado river corridor.
