65 Only

Where are you finding models? I'd like to find a 440 model to attempt to replicate my ride.

AMT 1176M/12
The only 65 Coronet kits that were made are the original 65 which costs an arm and a leg to buy. There is the Polar Lights snap kit which was rereleased a few years ago as an AMT. The snap kit is easy to find and actually a pretty decent kit. Anyhow both kits are of a 500. I think with some work you could make it into a 440?

I like this one.

Here's my old 65. Still needs a lot of work but money and time get in the way. Finally got in on the road about 13 months ago. It has a 68 440HP in it from when I bought it about 9 years ago, appears to have a purple cam in it. Runs pretty strong but it's worn out. Did a disc brake conversion on the front and some QA1 suspension. The rear has old superstock spring and a suregrip 3:23. My brother narrowed it to fit the Weld wheels and put in thick Strange axles and 11" drum brakes that he had in his stash. My brother and I are talking about putting a stroker motor together soon. Lots of work ahead.

Thanks Bryan. I'm jealous, your car is in much better shape than mine. Hope the 496 goes together well.
