They're awfully pricey, I'd hate to buy them and find out they were reboxed Moog.

Firm feel sway bars are made by them..They sell Bilstein shocks too..

It's a valid question for sure.....they've always been major $$ bucks. Looking at their website, Youtube page, company history etc, doesn't give you fuzzy feeling either..... it's all sales and bragging. Mopars and Women on the Youtube page.... sure are'nt any videos of the boys working their foundry lol.

I only see two vids on Firm Feel's YouTube channel. Not a whole lot of info on their stuff out there. Same with P-S-T although they have a few more videos.

I'm only considering Firm Feel/PST because most of the normal stuff is trash. The top line AC Delco links/arms are probably good though.

Over the years we have partnered with manufacturers to make our products. Some are made state side while others overseas it all depends on the products. Many of these relationships we have had for 30 plus years and hold them to certain standards. If you can tell me the exact products I can provide you more information as your title is broad.

When I designed and was involved in the fabrication of high temperature gas to gas heat exchangers, using ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineering) standards and practices for Code Inspected (Section VIII, Division I) unfired pressure vessels, it was required that all the metal suppliers furnish Certified Material Test Reports (CMTRs) which included the chemistry of the "Heats" of the various types of steels and their alloys, which included the traceability documents, of ALL plate, pipe, and structural shapes used. While your supply is not as critical, can, at least, the traceability of the alloy steels and any heat treatment performed, be documented or supplied on request? This would prevent sub-standard materials and manufacturers from being used. Just my opinion of course......

Over the years we have supplied this information to customer on as needed bases. The majority of the time this would come into play for overseas customers when using our parts on their vehicles in order to pass DOT inspections in their countries. I would see these requests many times when a disc brake conversion kit was purchased. State side this no required nor rarely requested.

Thanks

THANK YOU.....for the comments and thoughts. It is likely that the majority of the people using your products have no, or little, knowledge of metallurgy (or care) or heat treating or which alloys are "better" by application. Because of my engineering training, I've always been interested in details, rather than relying on what "my buddies" unsubstantiated claims may be. Thanks again for your insight.

These parts above come from our one overseas manufacturer. We have been partnered with this manufacturer a number of years and have built them to our specifications both dimensionally and material wise. All the products that we offer carry a life time limited warranty for as long as you own your vehicle against material and manufacturing defects. I am happy to answer any and all questions about our product offerings.

Thanks.

Thanks for the links.....I'm familiar with what the components are and what they do. My comment dealt with the manufacture of the components and materials used in their fabrication....specific to the alloys used and the heat treatment used in their manufacture, tolerances, dimensions, etc..

I guess my ultimate question is how much and what is made in China and India?

Are you answering the OP’s question or is PST answering?

PST answered, are you answering for Firm Feel?

This is a great question the OP ask.

Perhaps the OP wiil...that's up to him.....but for now, I'm asking/commenting for me. I am a consumer not a manufacturer, supplier or vendor. I just wanted to know for my informational purposes, when/if my vehicle requires said components.

:jackoff: Interesting lack of information on the details given when asked specific questions. Makes me question the PST parts.
Just my humble opinion and experience and that’s all.

Ask whatever questions you like, you might hit on something I should have thought of
