I bet it does. How old is your phone? Android or I phone? Just curious.

My parents moved into the new house January 1957, when they moved in August 1979 the same rotary phone was still on the dining room wall!

Since I'm an old guy, we still have a land line. But our phones are cordless that connect to a central device that dies with a power outage. The cell towers have gone out from time to time. I still keep a 1980's phone in the parts box, checked to make sure I have the cable to connect to the wall. It still works. Thank you AT&T.

I also have a landline. Actually 2. I keep my late wife's old landline because so much is attached to that number. My landline has my DSL on it. I refuse to give Comcast anymore of my money! Although I may have to. I am very much into Formula 1 and I may need to tap into more of the ESPN stations.
