We just purchased this 1971 GTX, I have been a Mopar guy all my life. I had a 1971 Satellite Sebring Plus with a sun roof when I was 16 that I had to rebuild with very limited funds and my wife had a 1972 Satellite Sebring. We just retired and purchased my dream car.

Welcome aboard from NJ. Congrats on your retirement and dream car; but...................

Welcome to the site and please post some pics before everyone starts having withdrawal symptoms! :D

I do not have it at home yet.It is being shipped from Alberta in an enclosed truck and hopefully be here by the end of Feb.

Welcome. And congratulations on your purchase and new family member. I'm continuing to warm to these 71-74 style B-bodies. With of course '71 being the pinnacle and last year for GTX.

I have posted before with some serious scrutiny of the superior build quality of GTX vs RoadRunner. I had my base model '69 RoadRunner sitting next to my base model GTX in my garage. With the understanding that RoadRunner could have the goodies that came with GTX if the right boxes were checked on build options. But base to base? Not a close or fair comparison. Thus I sold RoadRunner. And GTX remains as my favorite Mopar. I'm guessing this is also true with '71?

So in closing, and in my humble opinion? The GTX is the finest Plymouth ever built. I have no doubt you will enjoy your new guy. (Below is quick walk around vid of GTX.)
