I have a 66 or 67 440 that I am freshening up for my 66 Charger. Stock heads and cam. What spark plugs do you recommend? I know this question is like asking blonde or brunette but I still want to know everyone’s opinion.

American made Champion.. the newer ones are made all over I believe..just my .002!

J-11Y NOS are on Ebay if you want or The J-12YC took it's place.
Many prefer NGK or Autolite over Champion anymore. I still use Champion in my old Mopars.

Been running with E3's in my 383 for a few years now with good results.

I had a similar post several years back and a few folks recommended NGKs. I bought some and found the fouled quicker than the Champions I had used for years. I went back to Champions.

Heat range can vary for your combination. If you have fouling problems from oil, you can step up 1 range to see if that helps. You also will need to find out why they are fouling in the first place. Used to run Bosch in my 1 ton because it had lots of miles and used some oil and the Bosch didn't foul out like many of the others. I also stepped up to a hotter plug in the cylinders that were fouling the others.

As an aside, years ago when I worked in a garage & then had my own business, doing tune-ups, always used champion plugs. And never, never, ever had an issue/problem/comeback due to a faulty spark plug. I've used ac-delco and autolites in family cars, champions in my mopars, through the years, and never had an issue with any of those as well.
