4208.7 AWB manual

There was a build thread of mine on Moparts at one time...I haven't updated it for a long time and there has been a considerable bit completed since back then...

I'm actually "altering" the altered wheelbase as we speak, putting in sedan post's like the originals.

I just went thru my own small hell lining up brackets to support the 1/4 windows correctly...Chopped the old aluminum brackets off and tapped them to line up in new fixed 1/4 window brackets...
I'm keeping everything as a H/T...

My car is much more primitive than yours are...

Looks great, I have a question about support for the steering shaft . On my 65 AFX car I used a bushing that went into the end steering tube . A friend of mine made a few of them . Was going to use a bearing but this works much better.

I think the inside equalizer bar mount I used on the bellhousing (stock for a 63 Dodge with a 318 poly and 3sp on the column) has the entire engine and trans a little lower in the car...I have good clearance above the bell housing but it made the headers too close to the steering...

I ended up using a hole saw in a 1/4" piece of steel and then drilled with a slight offset towards the bottom...

I had to shorten the column to help clear the fender well headers and then ended up needing to be a little lower than center of the column tube to get under #5 header tube. (3rd pic)

I may have been able to ding #5 on the bottom and get by it without a universal joint but as is I have the best clearances for everything...
