I haven’t posted in a few years because my build stalled due to an unscrupulous builder. I had to settle for just storing her till I could find a better builder. So, the latest is my new builder has a good plan to finish the metal fabrication and recommended the use of a Roadster Shop frame to give her the ability to handle like a modern performance car. I’ll post some pictures of the engine, chassis, and now the body sitting on the frame.

Budnicks, it’s hard to look at your GTX after it’s been gutted. It’s even harder to imagine how she’s going to look like when you see it in pieces like a jigsaw puzzle. It’s only when the parts come together that you stop waking up at night in a panic remembering that this jigsaw puzzle used to be a running car with a 500 ci stroker. It’s not for the faint at heart!

440Coronet500, I spent 21 years in the Corps making chump change because I loved what I did! I got lucky and made some large green going places that nobody else wanted to go. Working with young troops trying to teach them how to do their job and stay alive. I never imagined I’d ever be able to do something like this, but here I am. Ain’t life crazy!

I'd say more of a Mod-Resto than Resto-Mod. Looks like art.

#41, I definitely agree. I was even impressed by the welds. The Roadster Shop definitely has their act together.

I admire your skillset!
Roadrunner, my skill set is knowing what I don’t know. Then find someone who can build the things I can’t. In the end it costs more, but she should be able to run and handle with the best of modern muscle cars.

Looks nice. Great way to use a car that has rotted floors, frame rails etc. I like how their and Morrisons units are not Stang2 based. Much better engineering for real street and track use.
